Began using K&N products in all my vehicles in early 70,s. Never noticed any MPG increases. DID notice no more buying throw away paper filters and maybe a small amount of power increase on hill when in my Cummins engine. Gas engine ,just convenient and maybe psychological Minute improvement. Worth it ? To me yes.

To maintain support, I left all of the pieces in place and perforated the filter housing with 2" holes from a hole saw. The opening total is 6 times the diameter of the plenum intake size. It works and it is stock stable................... ALSO, I fastened a piece of window screen around the housing to keep out bugs, leaves, and rodent parts!

Man I’ve spend $3000 dollars already thinking it was trans got that rebuilt and it still does the same issue as I took it in thinking that was the issue. It feels like if as in I had it in parking break and ones I reach 30pmh it starts to jerk like if the trans was bad. And the transmission as well shift like crazy like if it diner get rebuilt . At this point I’m kinda giving out . I was told it could be the ecm but that is my last resource …

Do you need a special turbo? Like will the turbo need special seals to deal with the vacuum caused when you let off the throttle? I’m asking because I never turbocharged a motor but I assume if it I get a turbo that was intended for fuel injection the turbo would not be built to see vacuum on the input side. Thanks

Hey Matt, do you still have your red Z31? I haven't seen any videos on it for years. Also, do you know of a good, inexpensive FMIC that will fit in place of the factory A/C condenser fan? I had a side to side intercooler designed, but I think it's too large and the company wanted over $1215 without any piping.

Well, as Miagi once said "Afraid a fracts mixed up!!" A. You might want to I don't know CLEAN YOUR ENGINE BAY. A clean engine believe it or not will be morr efficient than a dirty one. B. You destroyed your breather which I would never do. The on board computer is programmed to sense the air in and out and you just altered that so will probably have a check engine light on and will probably run lean now. C. You talk about "IMPROVED GAS MILEAGE" but yet you put a dirty clogged air filter back in. How does that improve gas mileage? So in summary, you do not pass go and you do not collect 200 dollars.

The rest of the exhaust is still factory so useless . And that doesn't seem like it will flow too well to the left side

Hi, I’m hoping you can help me, I am building a draw through turbo set up for a small block shelf in my 1 ton , and my question is where can I get a turbo with a cord down seal in it so the oil doesn’t blow into the charge, or if you could direct me to where I could get a turbo for a drive-through application thank you
